Q2 Logo and Design

When designing our texts we felt that we needed a strong bond between products and something that would link our name and who we are together. The way in which we went about this was we new that logos were a good start the main reason for this is because when doing research into other bands and searching there names they all had a logo that referenced the band so we knew this had to be done. We felt that we knew the bands needed something referencing its indie rock and we felt style and colour was the way forward although indie rock is normally done as a scruff look that you have tried to tie something together. But although for our music video we had used this we wanted more smart scruff and a bit of the beach vibe as well due to the song holiday. So we knew we had that to work with we made the text smart however scruff which was like the costume that had been decided on and we made sure that we had black and white in there as they are the stereotypical indie colours which we wanted to pay homage to.
